Morris and Bailey Ltd separates itself from other construction companies by being an award winning company specialising in civil construction, commercial construction and new homes in regions such as Dannevirke, Palmerston North, Central Hawkes Bay, Tararua, Horowhenua and Kapiti.  We've been operating since 1969 and pride ourselves on having a long standing record of successfully completing projects on time and on budget. Our philosophy is to work closely with our clients to deliver the right end result. Over many decades we are proud to have established a reputation for high standards of workmanship and developing sound solutions for clients no matter what challenges they may throw our way.

Who We Are
The success of any building project relies on the people at the helm. Our management team has clocked up many years of experience working on a wide variety of successful projects.  Experience counts and some members of the Morris & Bailey team have been with the company since it started in 1969 with newer faces taking the company ahead into the future. 

Our History
1969
Morris & Bailey Ltd was founded and initially consisted of offices in Woodville and Dannevirke. The Dannevirke office concentrated its effort mainly on the residential market while the Woodville office became more involved with civil construction and bridge building. 

1985
The company's expertise in bridge building saw it became more involved in significant bridge building projects in the region. Over the coming years Morris & Bailey successfully completed many bridges of varied design and size for Transit, Kiwirail and District Councils throughout the region.

1987
Morris & Bailey consolidated its operations in Dannevirke. The company grew quickly and became involved in large projects such as the construction of Feltex Wool Spinners Mill and the new Meat Processing Plant for Richmond’s. Some of our key clients during these times included Linton and Waiouru Military bases, Ohakea Air Force Base, Massey University, Palmerston North Hospital and Dannevirke Community Hospital to name a few.

Present
Morris & Bailey continues to experience strong growth and currently employs a team of nearly 15 staff. The company's high standards of workmanship and expertise have continue to be recognised and Morris & Bailey has won a raft of awards for projects such as the KiwiRail replacement bridge in Feilding, Speight's Alehouse in Palmerston North, Kopane bridge replacement in Palmerston North, Southern Star Abbey Monastery and a residential house at 24 Ruahine Street, Dannevirke.
